FAQ

1. What is rush hour same day delivery?

Some cakes are available for rush hour same day delivery, order cakes 2 hours in advance. delivery time zone is 9:30am- 12:30pm or 12:30 pm-6:30pm. call 905-2829328 in daytime working hour. There may be no delivery service in certain day for reasons, please contact  in advance.

2. What is the latest time to place an order for next day delivery?

Our weekday order cutoff time is 3:00pm business hour. In order to have a gift delivered the following day, your order must be submitted before the cutoff time. Orders received after 3:00pm Monday-Saturday will be processed the following business day. No statutory holidays.

3. Allergens

The following ingredients are used in our bakery and may be present in any of our products:

  • Peanuts
  • Tree Nuts
  • Dairy
  • Eggs
  • Soy
  • Wheat
  • Gelatine
  • Soy lecithin

4. What if I need to cancel my order?

To cancel your order, please call our Customer Care Team directly at 905-2829328 or Email us at info@tastypastry.ca. As soon as your orders have been received, they are processed immediately. Customers qualify for a refund 24 hours in advance of their scheduled delivery date. If orders are for next day delivery, a refund will only be issued if the request is received before our cutoff time of 3:00 pm on the day that your order is received.

We cannot issue refunds on cakes, cupcakes and desserts; however we guarantee that all our products will be delivered and received on schedule date and will be in perfect condition. Any discrepancies must be received in writing within 24 hours.

5. At what time will my cake and pastry be delivered?

Our regular delivery time zone is 9:30am- 12:30pm or 12:30 pm-6:30pm. There may be no delivery service holidays or some days for reason.  If you require delivery on any other day and time, please send an email to info@tastypastry.ca. During inclement weather and traffic conditions beyond our control, delivery times may be affected, and you will be notified ahead of time. We try our best to deliver within the times above, but due to traffic conditions, these times may change.

6. How do I store my cake and pastry?

Our gifts stay good in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or in the freezer for up to 2 months.  

7. What happens if I provide the wrong address or an address with missing information?

We are not responsible for orders left unattended. If the first attempt at delivery is missed, no refunds will be given. You may either pick up your item at our bakery or request a second attempt. Second attempts at a delivery will not be made unless requested and delivery fee paid in full prior to the delivery. We cannot issue refunds on cakes; however, we guarantee that all our products will be delivered and received on schedule date and will be in perfect condition.

8. What if my gift arrived damaged?

If you experience complications with the delivery of your order you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, store credit or second reshipment of a fresh gift. Contact our Customer Care Department either by phone  or email immediately, so that we may investigate and offer you resolutions to any damaged shipments. 

9. What are delivery locations and delivery fees?

Our delivery are centered in Highway 401/403 Mississauga and extended beyond, locations and prices are listed below. If your area is not listed below, please call us or email us. The delivery fee will be added upon checkout. HST tax is added to your delivery charge based on radius and locations. (Delivery times 9:30 am – 12:30 pm or 12:30pm-5:30pm)
